Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

1. Purpose

At Carter Fleet, we are committed to conducting our business ethically, with integrity and transparency. This includes an unequivocal stance against modern slavery and human trafficking in any form.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all individuals working with or on behalf of Carter Fleet, including the founder, contractors, freelancers, employees or partners.

3. Our Business

Carter Fleet is a UK-headquartered global public relations agency with a team of dedicated PR experts spread across the world.

Our direct operations and supply chain are currently low-risk, and we are committed to growing responsibly and ethically.

4. Our Commitment

Carter Fleet will:

● Comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and relevant international legislation.

● Avoid any involvement—directly or indirectly—in modern slavery, human trafficking, or forced labour.

● Choose partners and suppliers who align with our values and ethical standards.

● Build scalable processes for assessing and reviewing risk as the business grows.

5. Due Diligence

We will:

● Take care in selecting freelancers, suppliers, and service providers based on ethical considerations as well as capability.

● Where relevant, ask partners to confirm their own approach to preventing modern slavery.

● Keep an open line of review for any partnerships or services that could involve higher risk in the future.

6. Awareness and Accountability

● The founder is currently responsible for all aspects of this policy.

● As the team grows, relevant training and documentation will be introduced to maintain high ethical standards.

● A culture of responsibility and transparency will be encouraged from the outset.

7. Reporting Concerns

Anyone working with Carter Fleet is encouraged to raise any concerns about modern slavery or unethical practices, either directly to the founder or via a future confidential reporting mechanism as the business expands.

8. Review and Responsibility

The policy is owned and reviewed by the founder. It will be assessed annually or sooner if the scope of the business changes significantly.
